today, i was hanging out with the greatest renee fan -- charissa, and well, when you see her gushing enthusiastically talking about renee, you have your doubts about her and tend to ask questions, like, "what do you see in renee?"
now, as i reflect about it, it's a pretty ironic situation.
a few months back then anybody could remember my diehard passion for lynette? whenever anyone asked me what i saw in lynette, it tended to be the fingertip, clich¨¦d answer, like, OH, LYNETTE'S SO CUTE AND HOT AND SHE PLAYS SOCCER!!11!1 i don't think i ever paused to really, seriously self-evaluate on what i thought about lynette. Yeah, only when you don't have crushes on people you actually see them in a more objective perspective.
Charissa was actually pausing -- she took rather a while, to define what she saw in renee. i think it was her pause, instead of an intuitive, spontaneous answer (like mine) that told me charissa didn't really weigh the pros and cons of a person, like some calculating individuals do, because she likes renee for that special quality, it can't be defined to the exact point, because it's attraction which is fueled by, let's say, charisma, intellect, or maybe in lynette's case, looks.
i watched charissa struggle to put her finger on WHY she liked renee -- her name is french, she's in HMP, she's studious ... charissa didn't see what people with objective perspectives do -- she was just finding reasons to support renee's uniqueness, when well, i can point out that Michelle Ng has a french name, in HMP, and studious.
yet the obvious thing is, MICHELLE? LIKE RENEE? OMG are you KIDDING?
so the lesson of the day is, how special you are is weighed differently in peoples' eyes.

w00h00. First paper over now. EL was slack. Spent break playing with that Micro Machine thing. I've realized how fun it is. Maybe i shall bring BeyBlades on Monday haha.
Ohoh and Monkey is a great person to sing stuff with. We sang This Love, She Will Be Loved and Like A Rose. yay Monkey RoXoRZ. ^^
Oh and Friend. cornered the car and got a lot of other people doing this. Mmm. At least it wasn't like the last time. -am glad- It's nice to see her everyone smile. =)

Oh i'm learning to skateboard! Haha. I need a better board ><. Get me a skateboard for my b'day next year. Of course i'd rather have an electric guitar but that's out-of-the-point.
I'm hoping to fal and break my leg so i don't have to go for the Second Chinese Exam. Haha.. Okay nvm i'm joking. Of course if it did happen i wouldn't mind.. -_-ll
